I KNOW I CAN FLY (Short Doc, 2023)
David Laronde is an Indigenous musician from Temagami, Ontario who was nominated for the 2022 Indigenous Songwriter of the year by the Canadian Folk Music Awards. His third album entitled “I Know I Can Fly”, was inspired by a desperate need to respond to escalating numbers of teen suicides, single mothers and unjust incarceration statistics in Canada.
