



Matt Steeves is a documentary filmmaker from Ontario, Canada dedicated to exploring the human connection with the natural world. Following his curiosity for how nature shapes our emotions, cultures, and survival, his work often takes him to remote landscapes where he seeks to uncover stories that highlight the symbiotic relationship between people and the land and the urgent need for harmony with nature.
With nearly 10 years experience across 4 continents, Matt thrives shooting in remote environments and is an asset for production teams aiming to stay nimble and keep a low profile. Matt believes in the power of storytelling to create change in the real world, which is why he has worked with non-profit organizations such as: FINCA, Feed it Forward, Medical Ministries International, Golden Future South Africa, The Friends of Temagami, The Friends of Ojibway & The Downtown Mission of Windsor.
